Ivy is unconcious tied up in Jacob's room. The burning sensation in her nose is what wakes her.

"God, this place reaks of mutt!"

'I'll get you soon, I promise. If anything drastic happens..you know what to do. And if...heaven forbids, if the vampire pack finds you...run. Don't come back, just keep going.'

[Ivy_Skye]

I'm not going to leave you with the mess that I brought with me. I didnt mean for all this to happen. I'll get out of this and you wont have to worry anymore...I'm not your problem.

[JoelleisAdmin?]

'...I want you to be my problem...'

And Bella?

[JoelleisAdmin?]

'I'll deal with her later...'

Okay, when I get out of here...meet me at the bridge by the forest in Forks...I almost have the chains off.

'The pack of vampires are in the town, I'm searching for them. Let me know as soon as you're there. I'm in the volvo.'

Jacob ran back to his house as fast as he could. When he got there, he laid her on his bed and, grabbing the necissary things, he attended to her wounds and, seeing that her clothes were torn and bloody, he put some of his on you, ignoring the constant complaints of the "smell of mutt" from her. After he got Ivy all settled he pulled up a chair next to the bed and waited. It wasn't long before she awoke.

Ivy blinked twice before opening her eyes, fighting the pounding in her head and the aching all over the rest of her body. "Where...what happened?"

Jacob gently pushed her shoulders back down. "Sshh, don't worry about that. You need to rest."

Realizing where she was, Ivy jumped up wincing from the pain. "What the hell is going on?! Why did you bring me here again." She leaned against the wall to help her stand. "I know Edward never would've just let you take me."

"Edward has other problems to deal with."

Ivy glared at him in silence before averting her gaze.

Sensing he said something wrong, Jacob tried to cover it up. "You said not to kill Evan. I'm sure he's trying to figure out what to do with him..if he's still alive....Besides, we still have to figure out what to do with you."

"Let me go. I did nothing wrong and had no intentions of doing anything wrong. You have no reason to keep me here."

"Well, Its not like you could get away."

Ivy raised an eyebrow to that comment. "Are you sure about that?"

"Go ahead and try."

Ivy smiled at the challenge but knew it would be no challenge at all. In seconds she disappeared and an unseen force knocked Jacob away from the doorway and into the wall across the room. She was gone. But itwasnt until she was out of the house that her wounds were starting to slow her down. She knew she'd have to run like hell to get across that line before he got to her.

Edward ran, scanning for Ivy's mind, hoping she'd make it to the treaty line before the mongrel dog reached her.

'Damnit, Ivy...where are you?'

I'm coming Edward. Wait for me along the line.

She kept running, brushing away branches and leaves that got in the way. She could hear the wolf following her trail. Ivy leapt up into the trees and jumped from branch to branch. Jacob ran beneath her but didnt notice Ivy jumping above him. Ivy slowed down and let him race ahead. Turning in a different direction, Ivy headed to the Treaty Line from a different angle. Pain stung her leg and shot through her body. Blood seeped into her mouth from biting her lip so as to not shout out in pain. The line was coming into veiw, as was Edward. Ivy jumped the last yard, and fell to the ground, hoping Edwards arms would catch her.

Diving for her falling form, Edward caught Ivy. She was battered, bleeding and shaking.

"You're tough.." He smirked, her voice dripping with sarcasm.

The run home he refused to put her down till they arrived at the front door of the cullen mansion.

"Don't be jealous." She whispered.

Finally feeling safe, Ivy passed out and allowed Edward to carry her to his home.

Jacob chased after her but soon stopped when he realized she is probably already gone. Cursing himself, Jacob turned back and began to search for Joelle.
